Summer is a time for adventure; A time to slow down, embrace getting lost, travel to new places, create enduring memories , and see things in the light of the warm summer sun. That’s how I see summer.

This summer, adventure found me 1,533 miles from home in the romantic rolling hills of Finger Lakes Wine Country, otherwise known as Upstate New York. Each day began and ended with brisk, chilled air, perfect for a light sweater & coat. By the peak of noon it was just the right amount of sunshine and warmth to throw your coat around your waist and head for the nearest winery or hike to waterfalls.

No matter where summer has taken me, or what spontaneous curveball it threw, there was always one thing I kept ready within reach. My sunglasses. On the top of my ‘sunnies to purchase’ list are the Warby Parker Banks. (My birthday is less than a month away hint hint, cough cough.) As I recently scrolled through their site, I couldn’t help but think of these sunnies to be the perfect companion for not just my summer adventures, but for all my adventures through every season. With Warby Parker’s #SeeSummerBetter campaign, I decided to create an ode to an essential outfit for my Upstate New York adventure using their sunnies to complete the look. Because no outfit is complete unless you’ve got your best sight seeing accessory.  Warby Parker OOTDSunglasses : Warby Parker | Denim Jacket : H&M | Sweater : H&M | Jeans : H&M | Tennis Shoes : Nike | Hat : 47 Brand | Backpack : Target | Watch : Nixon |

Check out more sunglasses here, at Warby Parker! They’ll even send you up to five pairs of sunglasses to try on at home for free, with their Home Try-On Program, making it that much easier to decide on which frames will best fit your face!
